Binding Wounds, Pushing Boundaries: African Americans in Civil War Medicine

What a happy coincidence that the National Library of Medicine has developed an exhibit on African Americans in the Civil War, which is this year’s Black History Month themeBinding Wounds, Pushing Boundaries: African Americans in Civil War Medicine actually opened last October at the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the National Museum of Civil War Conference.  It is currently on view at NLM in Bethesda, MD and Howard University in Washington, DC.  Binding Wounds is a traveling exhibition and is scheduled through February 2015.  Check the tour itinerary to see if it will be in or near your city.
